King Suite
The walk-out basement on the lower level of the house was renovated in 2022. A sliding glass door and large picture window offer tranquil views of the backyard. The open-concept space includes a sitting area with TV, plus a sleeping area with king bed. The room has pocket doors for privacy. There’s also an ensuite bathroom and large walk-in closet. (Note: you must descend stairs to access the basement level.)
Pamper Yourself
The basement bathroom features a luxurious soaking tub and separate walk-in shower. It’s the perfect way to unwind after a day on the trail or the slopes. On chilly mornings you’ll appreciate a heated floor in this bathroom. Ahhhhhhhh
Main Level Bedooms
There are two bedrooms — a king bedroom and a twin bedroom — on the main level. The home's main level bathroom has a roomy shower, good water pressure, and a generous single vanity.
Family friendly
The twin bedroom has one XL twin bed and a regular twin-size trundle bed. For families with young children we provide:
1 travel crib/pack-n-play
1 toddler-size cot (48"x24"x9") and nap mat
2 baby gates to restrict access to stairs
1 restaurant-style high chair (up to 3 yrs old or a max weight of 33 lb)
1 inflatable baby bath (6 - 24 months)
supply of outlet and door knob covers that you can use if desired
kid-friendly BPA-free plastic plates and bowls
Kick back and relax
This cottage was completely renovated in 2021 and 2022 by local firm Cantwell-Jackson Design Build. All furnishings are modern and new. The style is a fresh take on Adirondack mountain with mid-century modern touches. Casual comfort. Lots of natural light.
Gather in the Kitchen
The gourmet kitchen is outfitted with a high-performance induction cooktop, wall oven, full-size fridge and Bosch dishwasher. We also have a microwave, toaster, Instapot, and extra electric hotplate. All the basics for cooking and baking. A coffee station is ready for your arrival with Keurig and an assortment of K-cups, as well as a French Press, Chemex pour over & Hario switch immersion dripper. There's a gooseneck kettle and coffee grinder, but you'll need to BYOB - bring/buy your own beans.
Share a Meal Around the Table
Whether you pick up Chinese from China City, a heat-and-eat meal from Simply Gourmet, or cook in the kitchen — sit down at the table and enjoy a meal together. We’ve got plenty of seating for six at the table, plus a highchair for baby. There’s also seating for four at the kitchen island.
Backyard Fun
The backyard is wooded with lots of pine and maple trees that add a sense of privacy. It's beautiful all four seasons. You might even catch a glimpse of a deer, a fox, or an Adirondack fisher passing through the back woods. Plenty of space for kids and dogs to run and play. You’ll also find a recently added fire pit for roasting marshmellows, and plenty of classic Adirondack chairs for seating.
