Maddie’s Picks for Dog-Friendly Dining
Here’s our pup’s list of her top 5 favorite places to hang with us for an outdoor meal.
Ray Brook Brewhouse (Ray Brook) - We end up here pretty regularly for the chicken tenders or a salad. It’s usually pretty easy to get a table on the deck.
Big Slide Brewery - Check their IG feed or website for specials - they often have mini pizzas for $1 and deals like oyster night. Nice outdoor area that’s fun for kids and dogs alike.
Simply Gourmet / Dack Shack - Simply Gourmet sandwiches are our fav. But you can also get a casual meal from the Dack Shack and sit out on the lawn in their Adirondack chairs. It’s an easy walk from our cottage, and perfect after a walk along the Peninsula trails.
The Cottage at Mirror Lake - Dog friendly with views of the lake! You can’t beat that. And the Cottage on Mirror Lake gets bonus points when they have their tent up over a section of parking lot, which makes outdoor dining feasible even if it’s rainy.
Tail o’ the Pup (Ray Brook) - Super casual BBQ at picnic tables. It feels like one big party with live music most nights. After your meal, walk across the street to get soft serve cones from the Pine Cone!
