Here’s our pup’s list of her top 5 favorite places to hang with us for an outdoor meal.

• Ray Brook Brewhouse (Ray Brook) - We end up here pretty regularly for the chicken tenders or a salad. It’s usually pretty easy to get a table on the deck.

• Big Slide Brewery - Check their IG feed or website for specials - they often have mini pizzas for $1 and deals like oyster night. Nice outdoor area that’s fun for kids and dogs alike.

• Simply Gourmet / Dack Shack - Simply Gourmet sandwiches are our fav. But you can also get a casual meal from the Dack Shack and sit out on the lawn in their Adirondack chairs. It’s an easy walk from our cottage, and perfect after a walk along the Peninsula trails.

• The Cottage at Mirror Lake - Dog friendly with views of the lake! You can’t beat that. And the Cottage on Mirror Lake gets bonus points when they have their tent up over a section of parking lot, which makes outdoor dining feasible even if it’s rainy.
