The Adirondack Store has a location in Lake Placid on Saranac Avenue, and another store in Tupper Lake. They carry gifts, home furnishings, antiques, rugs, tabletop, accessories and more.
Dartbrook Rustic Goods is an institution! They have two stores in Keene (and a small hotel too), and appear to be working on a third store. They make their own handcrafted wood furniture in the "Great Camp" tradition, and also sell home furnishings, antiques, vintage memorabilia, lighting, rugs, pillows, original artwork, taxidermy and more. They have a nice selection of well made Adirondack chairs, as well as the classic Westport chairs. Check out Dartbrook online, and visit in person.
L. Post Rustics also makes a lot of their own handcrafted Adirondack furniture, sells furnishings and lovely artwork too. They have a small shop in Lake Placid, a workshop in AuSable Forks, and an online store.
Adirondack Decorative Arts & Crafts is right on Main Street in Lake Placid. In addition to furnishings, they carry a lot of gifts, tabletop and accessories.
Owls Head Rustics is the place to go for Adirondack chairs made of recycled polywood material. They also have lots of rustic furniture. The store is located between Lake Placid and Keene, and check out Owls Head Rustics online.
