Ride with us on the Adirondack Rail Trail from Lake Clear to the Floodwood Outpost -- our third installment of this series. This section is about 9.5 miles one-way (19 miles roundtrip). An awesome bike trail along several ponds and through wilderness. We packed a lunch and ate at the Floodwood Outpost picnic tables. As of 2024, Floodwood is as far as the trail goes. BUT, construction is underway to complete the next section of rail trail from Floodwood to Tupper Lake in 2025. We can't wait to return next year!
