We took our dog Maddie on an overnight canoe-camping trip on Lake Placid. We stayed in a lean-to on Moose Island with stunning views of Whiteface Mountain. It took us less than 1 hour to paddle from the public dock put-in to the lean-to, and that was taking our time enjoying the weather.

This is a great trip for visitors to the Lake Placid area who might enjoy a night camping.
